Operations consulting that ships working systems, not slide decks.

YYR Consulting rebuilds how companies actually run: inventory, fulfillment, ERP, dashboards, and the workflows in between. Using AI-accelerated development, engagements go from diagnosis to a running, handed-off system in weeks, not quarters.

Services

Built for operations that outgrew their spreadsheets

Every engagement starts with the same question: where does the real work get stuck? Then we design the fix from first principles and build it, rather than leaving behind a recommendations memo.

Operations diagnosis & turnaround

Structured interviews with the people doing the work, a walk of the actual floor, and a prioritized map of where errors, delays, and double-work come from. Then we fix the biggest one first.

Custom AI-built internal tools

Purpose-built apps for inventory, serial tracking, receiving, testing, and photography workflows, designed around how your team actually operates and built at AI speed on a modern cloud stack.

ERP operationalization

Getting platforms like Odoo to actually run the business: warehouse operations wired to accounting, CRM talking to inventory, and one number everyone trusts instead of three that disagree.

KPIs, dashboards & asset recovery

Metric systems that show leadership what each team is doing and whether it's the right thing, plus disposition processes that turn idle inventory into recovered cash.

AI strategy & adoption

Figuring out where AI actually pays off in your business, and where it doesn't. Tool selection, workflow redesign, and a first win shipped fast enough to build belief.

AI governance & enablement

Practical policies and guardrails for how your company uses AI, plus hands-on training so your team works with these tools confidently instead of around them.

Recent engagement

Rebuilding operations for a multimillion-dollar equipment marketplace

An equipment marketplace was triple-counting millions of dollars of inventory across spreadsheets and a half-implemented ERP. Wrong units were shipping, test results weren't attached to the gear they described, and leadership had no reliable view of what was actually on the shelf.

In a matter of weeks, YYR designed and shipped a custom operations platform covering serial-level tracking, receiving and testing procedures, product photography workflow, cycle counts, and leadership dashboards, integrated with the company's ERP and CRM, then trained the operations team to run it independently.

  • Errors near zero: shipping and inventory mistakes engineered out of the process
  • One source of truth: the whole warehouse tracked unit-by-unit in one platform
  • Cash recovered: a seven-figure recovery pipeline built from idle and forgotten stock
  • Accounting unblocked: the ERP finally running the business end to end
  • Real handoff: a non-technical operations team runs everything day-to-day

Approach

Diagnose, design, build, hand off

Diagnose with the people doing the work

Structured interviews across every department the process touches. The gap between how work is supposed to flow and how it actually flows is where the money is.

Design from first principles

No off-the-shelf template. Each system is reasoned from what the business actually needs to measure and move, so teams stop working around their tools.

Build at AI speed

AI-assisted development compresses what used to be a six-month software project into weeks, which means the budget goes into a working system instead of a pilot.

Hand off something that outlives the engagement

The job isn't done until your team, technical or not, runs the system without me. Documentation, training, and onboarding are part of every engagement.

About

An operator and engineer, not a career advisor

YYR Consulting is led by Yitzy Rosenberg, an engineer-turned-operator who has spent a decade fixing operations from the inside, across startups, e-commerce warehouses, real estate portfolios, public infrastructure, and venture funds. Different rooms, same job: find where the real work gets stuck, build the system that fixes it, and leave behind a team that runs it themselves.

If you want the specifics for your situation, reach out and ask. There's probably a directly relevant example.

  • Turnarounds under pressureComfortable walking into operations where things are actively on fire
  • Systems over adviceEvery engagement ends with something running, not something recommended
  • AI leverage, provenBuilding with AI daily to deliver in weeks what used to take quarters
